Hypothesis Practice

When you are writing a hypothesis, you need to keep two things in mind.:
Is this hypothesis written as a complete sentence?
   Is this hypothesis testable?

For example.

1.  A student wants to find out what type of music his friends like best.

Answer:  If I play several types of music for my friends, then they will like bluegrass the best.

Is this hypothesis true?  Probably not.  But it is testable.  Also, it is written as a complete sentence and I did use the If...then method.

2.  Your friend wants to know which shoes will make her run the fastest.

Answer:  My friend will run the fastest with sprinting shoes.

I didn't use the If...then method, but it is still a good hypothesis.
